I can’t knit. That’s not true, I used to knit when I was … younger? Normally you start knitting when you get older. Well, I am different. So, I can’t knit. Little M is too little to knit and I am not sure he would enjoy knitting anyway. But I’d really love to have such a bag. It is knitted out of old plastic bags. I found it on this website www.cocoknits.com/info/tutorials/plasticbagknit.html and they even have a tutorial on how to cut a plastic bag for knitting.
Is there anyone who wants to help me out? Either with knitting or showing me how to knit a plastic bag.
What a great combination of recycling and fashion statement.

Hi Liz,
for some reasons we always have plastic bags in the house although we refuse them when shopping and always have our reusables with us. But they ssem to sneek in, sit in the cupboard and wait for us to do something with them. So knitting would be great. If you life in Sydney and I could bring them over to you and you can start a plastic knitting bag business
.

What a great idea. I love to knit and I’m always searching for ways to reuse old items for knitting projects. The only problem is I very rarely have any plastic bags in the house. My friend had to bring some of her old ones over so that I had some for my bins.
