About

Living a more sustainable life can be fun, cool, rewarding and doesn’t mean to sacrifice your life at all. This blog is all about sharing ideas and tips on a more sustainable life not just as a family but as open-minded people. If I can inspire just some of you to change something in your life to reduce your ecological footprint, my efforts to run this blog have more than paid off.

I am a mum living in Sydney Australia and I try to do my bit to reduce the impact I have on the environment. I have to admit this was not always the case. I was interested in a green life but it was the action that was missing. A few years ago it changed. I made a conscious decision to leave my job in advertising and move into the sustainable industry. And this was the start to a lot of little changes I have done to my life since. I haven’t changed my lifestyle but I have changed the way I think, consume and act and therefore the impact I have on our environment.

I hope you will have some fun reading this blog. Any feedback, comment and discussions are more than welcome. The more we share the better it will be.

    Hello,

My name is Sam Marquit, I am an independent ‘green’ contractor and co-author of Fair Marquit Value I am wondering if you’re interested in featuring me on your blog because I would love a chance to speak with your readers about the idea of environmentally responsible tourism as it’s applied in modern day travel and stay.

If you think this topic, or any other for that matter, would be of interest to your readers, please let me know and I can begin drafting up something that I believe will mesh with your blog very well.

I look forward to hearing back from you; hopefully we can work together on spreading the word on important topics like this as they relate to environmental awareness!

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Sam

    Hi there sustainable mum,

Just stumbled to your site and I must say I will keep you on my watch list. I too post regularly on sustainability and ethical/fair trade options in our local neighbourhood. I too am just pregnant and exploring the wonders of being an ethical mother. You should check out a wonderful blog I found from Canada – it outlines some great ideas!

    Hi there,

Just wanted to thank you for your great efforts with this blog. I may not (yet) be able to put all of your tips and tricks into practical use but they nevertheless inspire me to think of other ways to ‘walk the walk’.

    Cheers

    Den

    Hi Angie,

    Deine Marion
